The mainstream media and Democrat figureheads have become particularly adept at assigning racist foundations to Romney campaign maneuvers and other newsworthy events. It reminds me a lot of the Kevin Bacon game where tortuous connections tie any celebrity to Kevin Bacon. I have a few examples here, but the ones that originated from the RNC speeches this week, courtesy of Chris Matthews, are the most disgusting. Take a look:
RNC Example 1:
Mitch McConnell's speech takes a jab at Obama's constant golf playing by stating, "President Obama is working to earn a spot on the PGA tour" --> Tiger Woods plays golf --> Therefore, this is racial innuendo that seemingly links Obama to Tiger's personal trangressions as well. Huh???
RNC Example 2:
Connecting Obama to corrupt Chicago politics is also racist.
Chicago --> lots of black people live in Chicago --> Racism. Wow
The only racism I heard from the convention came from the left:
Yahoo! News Washington Bureau Chief and former ABC New political director David Chalian was heard off-mic on the first night of the convention as Hurricane Isaac was making landfall: “They aren’t concerned at all. They are happy to have a party with black people drowning.” Sam Donaldson, by the way, has come out in support of Chalian. Thank you, Yahoo! for canning Chalian right away.
Other Example 1:
Voters should be required to show ID at the polls. --> IDs cost money --> According to the Democrats, minorities (and senior citizens) don't have money --> Therefore, proposed Voter ID laws are racist. (Showing ID, however, to buy alcohol, board a plane, conduct a bank transaction, or even to buy spray paint or Sudafed is not racist.)
Other Example 2:
Mitt Romney gives a speech to the NAACP. --> Romney declares that he will overturn Obamacare --> [at this point, Newsweek and Daily Beast columnist Michael Tomasky directly jumps to racism, because according to him, "Obamacare" is a "heavily loaded word" and an "insult".] --> the NAACP loudly boos Romney --> With poise, Romney waits for the boos to die down and finishes his point. --> The pundits heap all kinds of praise on Romney --> Nancy Pelosi accused Romney of knowing the NAACP was going to boo him. --> Therefore, Romney planned the whole thing and is a racist.
Other Example 3:
President Obama announces in the Rose Garden what amounts to amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants by not deporting them and granting them work permits. --> Daily Caller's Neil Munro interrupts the President's announcement to ask about the policy's impact on American jobs. --> Congressman Elijah Cummings (D), among others, concludes that the disrespect was possibly because of Obama's race
Other Example 4:
Fast and Furious is an ATF program where guns were intentionally supplied to Mexican drug cartels. --> An American Border Patrol agent is shot and two of the guns found at the scene were traced to the program. --> A Congressional committee conducts an investigation and demands records from Attorney General Eric Holder about the the program. --> Eric Holder refuses and eventually convinces President Obama to declare the documents sealed using Executive Privilege (which by definition would imply direct knowledge by the President) --> The House of Representatives votes to hold Eric Holder in contempt of Congress. --> Since Eric Holder is black, the Republican Representatives are racist.
Needless to say, any suggestions by conservatives of racially motivated policies enacted by the Democrats are either also racist or simply buried by the media and, for the most part, unreported. For example, Eric Holder and the Department of Justice have come under attack for failing to condemn seemingly serious infractions by the New Black Panther Party. In one instance, the New Black Panther Party was reported to have intimidated voters in Philidelphia polling stations in 2008. The same group also got a pass when the publicly announced a $10,000 bounty for the vigilante capture of George Zimmerman, the "white Hispanic" shooter of Trayvon Martin. Eric Holder did make public comments, but only to praise Reverend Al Sharpton for his efforts in vilifying George Zimmerman in spite of the unknowns in the case. Finally, it's just a matter of course for 85 or 90% of the African American vote to go to Obama. Can you imagine if the white vote was that lopsided against Obama?

Vote Early and Often
Looks like there is some pent up voters' enthusiasm this year. See how people have been voting with their wallets ahead of the Nov 6th election.
Chick-Fil-A enjoys record breaking crowds after being told by the typical Dems and mayors in Boston and Chicago not to do business in their cities. What could make them turn a restaurant chain away in a bad economy? The CEO is supportive of traditional marriage. No claims of discrimination against anyone at their restaurants were made. An LGBT kiss-in on the heels of the Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day was comparatively sparse.
Dinesh D'Souza's documentary on Obama's roots was temporarily #1 in the box office this weekend. Not bad for a conservative documentary. In a similar vein as Fahrenheit 9/11, Obama's America 2016 is critical of the President by explaining his wealth redistribution aspirations and foreign policy based on his upbringing and mentors.
Amazon released an interactive map showing which states are reading right-leaning vs. left-leaning political books in 2012. Click on the link to see the titles they tracked.
Elsewhere, businesses leaning right are receiving grateful boosts in business. Marylou's (in Massachusetts) came under attack for discriminatory policies for their attractive and mostly white servers - not that there had been any complaints. In terms of diversity, their staff pretty well reflected the demographics of the store locations. In terms of hiring attractive waitresses, Hooters has weathered similar attacks in the past. Some suspected that maybe it was a nod by the government to Dunkin Donuts, who is a competitor to Marylou's and a major Dem contributor. Who knows.
Apparently, the caterer with the "I Built This" shirt at an Obama function fared well afterwards.
Also, a baker in Massachusetts that refused to take EBT cards, i.e. welfare, for her pies has been practically sold out ever since. She views her pies as a non-essential luxury item that shouldn't be paid for with taxpayer-funded benefits. Organizers of the farmers market where the controversy occurred were shocked that poor people might be somehow stigmatized.

What I Mean By Welfare Fraud
I offended some with my latest welfare rants, so let me back up my claims of welfare fraud with a few more facts.
Let's look at Social Security Disability Insurance. This is not for senior citizens. This is a safety net for people who are too disabled to work. Of course, it's something we should have. Unfortunately, the number of people enrolling in SSDI has amazingly outpaced all of those many jobs that Obama is so proud of creating over the past few months. Clearly, if more people are going on the dole than are going to work, we have big problems.
There is no way I think that all of these enrollees are truly too disabled to work. I've actually heard that one acceptable reason for going on to SSDI is if being out of work too long has caused too much "anxiety" to continue looking. SSDI is where you go when your 99 weeks run out. Historically, I believe only about 3% of the people that have gone onto SSDI have later come off. So, yes, I think the SSDI crowd is mostly a bunch of frauds. I also think that Obama couldn't be happier - anyone that goes onto SSDI comes off of the unemployment rolls, since they're officially no longer looking for work, and Obama gets the same decrease in the unemployment rate that he would if they actually got hired!
Another maneuver Obama made recently was to sign an executive order, i.e. forego Congressional approval, to suspend a regulation that was added as part of welfare reform during the Clinton administration that requires people collecting benefits to be actively looking for work or otherwise receiving some sort of professional training. See this article for more details. This is welfare that is separate from SSDI. I'm convinced that this was another tactic of Obama's to allow welfare recipients to stop looking for work so that they similarly come off of the unemployment rolls and give Obama a bump in the unemployment rate. I believe you have to stop looking for work for 2 months before that happens, so look for the unemployment rate to tick down late Sept or early Oct. It will only be real if it comes with correspondingly high "new jobs" numbers.
Of course, anyone who expresses their disgust with welfare abuse is branded a heartless racist.

Mass. Gets Out the Vote - The Welfare Vote
I was stunned to see this headline this morning: "Welfare voter push has GOP crying foul". Only in Massachusetts. The state has mailed voter registration information to everyone receiving public assistance. As a solid blue state, Massachusetts is not in play in the presidential election anyway, but there is a pivotal race for a Senate seat between Scott Brown and Fake Indian Elizabeth Warren that is hanging in the balance.
I'm not overly familiar with the applicable law, but as I understand it, Mass is required to inform public assistance and driver's license recipients about voter registration. Maybe this would all seem more fair if everyone covered under the law received the mailing at the same time - but no, just the welfare recipients are notified by direct mail within 100 days of the election. The democrats say there is nothing insidious here and that the mailing (and upcoming ad spots!) was a requirement stemming from a recent lawsuit brought on by an ACORN offshoot and a moonbat organization called Demos that apparently counts Obama as a founding board member. A little less surprising, but more nauseating, is that Elizabeth Warren's daughter is a current Board Chair.
This story just screams for a Voter ID law. How can you mail voter registration forms to the recipients of government programs that are rife with fraud and not expect the voters you turn out to misrepresent their identity and vote under false names? How about all the illegals on the welfare rolls that aren't supposed to be there - they're being courted by the Mass Democrats, too? Obviously. I suppose I should back up my claims that illegals are in fact receiving welfare. I did some web searching and found several mainstream media accounts discrediting such scurrilous accusations, like this one from the esteemed NPR station in Boston. Despite what the authorities claim, we all know that illegals indeed do receive free housing, food stamps, cash benefits, free cell phones, and the rest. You have to look no further than President Obama's own Aunt Zeituni Onyango (Exhibit A) and Uncle "Omar" Onyango Obama (Exhibit B). Both have received benefits for years in Massachusetts while overstaying multiple deportation orders. (See article for more info)

Quid pro Quo: Tax Returns for College Records
So do you think there are any smoking guns in Romney's tax returns? I kind of doubt it. He's been in the public eye long enough to avoid anything too embarrassing. Plus, Mitt is too straight-laced to have anything too incendiary hidden away. Probably, they would show he's tithed to his church (considered a cult to some) from the beginning and made a few smart investments overseas - oh no! Whatever it is, I'd be willing to bet that Obama's college transcripts and admissions applications are far more problematic. So Mitt - please say sure, I'll release those tax returns just as soon as Obama releases his college records.
The Blaze had an article today that nicely sums it up. Maybe it's just a conspiracy theory to think that Obama has been exaggerating his foreign roots prior to being in the public realm. Judging by the biography used by his literary agent for 10+ years (see below - naturally, Obama had no idea), I wouldn't be surprised if being a foreign student was the narrative Obama had used up until then. If it pays for the good schools and sells more books - why not? This all sounds so much like our Fake Indian Senate candidate here in Massachusetts, Elizabeth Warren. Seems to me like they're using the same fraud playbook.
